Since Blossom Home Care first set out on its mission to redefine premium holistic care for clients in the comfort of their own homes, it has been largely focused on its North East roots. Primarily through franchising, it expanded from its Northallerton base to incorporate areas such as Barnard Castle, Durham, Malton, Beverley, Tadcaster, and most recently, Harrogate and Ripon.

It recently announced that clients in the capital and south east of England will soon start experiencing the Blossom Home Care difference. That’s because three new franchise locations have been secured – two in London’s Kensington and Knightsbridge districts, and one in the historic city of Canterbury, Kent.

New franchisee Juhar Hagos will be overseeing the west London locations, which are due to commence operation in October.

What first attracted you to the home care industry?

JH: I really liked the home care industry for its robustness during turbulent economic times and the growth of the market due to the ageing population. Personally, I enjoy helping people, so providing a service which can positively impact someone’s life – in addition to their family’s life – was a great match.

What was it about Blossom Home Care specifically which appealed to you?

JH: What drew me to Blossom Home Care was its USP of using an app to ensure smooth operations between the client and carer. The transparency that unfolds from such a system benefits all parties. What also attracted me was the freshness of the brand and the accomplishments it has achieved in such a short space of time.

How did you find the recruitment process?

JH: John and Fiona (founders) aided the whole process to ensure we, as the new owners, have a full understanding of what is required. Their patience and industry knowledge are highly appreciated by us. Esther has also been amazing too, particularly at the beginning – helping us gain a good insight into the brand and the owners. Everyone was extremely understanding during the process of becoming a franchise owner and I look forward to generating success with John and Fiona in the years to come.

Lastly, what benefits do you see your Blossom Home Care branch bringing to your local area?

JH: Unfortunately, I have heard of unprofessionalism from some other brands within the industry, but we at Blossom Home Care will provide the solution to this by delivering a premium service to those that require it. In particular, our software will enable us to provide a more tailored service. With the expertise gained in the field by both John and Fiona, along with our dedication and commitment, there really is no limit to the positive impact we can have within the west London area.
