To invest in Fun Fest is to invest in a joy for life and a job that guarantees flexible working patterns
Expelliarmus! It’s a powerful word that carries a lot of weight for wizards. And it’s a word that’s the envy of many, especially potential franchisees who wish they had a magic wand to escape the traditional nine-to-five. Those looking for a business that fits around their family or additional income that’s fun and flexible. So, it may come as no surprise the Fun Fest franchise has attracted many franchisees, and clients, with the lure of a game of Quidditch – all in the name of work.
Named as one of the UK’s top 100 franchisors for the last three years, Fun Fest is a child-led franchise unique to the holiday childcare market in the UK. Ideal as a second income, Fun Fest offers a low-cost business on a part-time basis with the potential to expand franchise streams. Franchisees can choose to scale up their offering to suit their circumstances from Fun Fest Children’s Parties to Fun Fest Before and After school Clubs as well as Fun Fest Holiday Clubs.
All three are designed to offer flexibility, a fun working environment and understand the needs of today’s parents. In this post-pandemic period, the demand for childcare has been unprecedented – particularly during school holidays – Fun Fest provides the perfect solution: Ofsted registered childcare that operates in a COVID-secure way. Not only is Fun Fest a highly accessible franchise business, but it also allows franchisees to literally take their children to work with them.
Celebrate choice and empower children
Helen Wilson believed in the vision of Fun Fest. Following a career in travel and entertainment working for Eurocamp and Thomas Cook, Helen joined Fun Fest Hartford as a club manager in 2018 and now runs Fun Fest Cheadle and Altrincham with Northwich due to open soon. Helen had never considered franchising until she joined Fun Fest Hartford. She explains: “I worked the summer as club manager at an established club and saw the potential to make it a continued success alongside my term-time role.”
Helen bought a franchise and began running it alongside her full-time role at a local sixth form college. She has since given herself the title of ‘Director of Fun’, set up her own office in Cheshire and employs a number of staff together with husband Wes.
Fun plays a huge part in the ethos of the business – and it’s infectious. Fun Fest celebrates choice and empowers children to make their own decisions, designing their own holiday programme. Sessions include a variety of adventures from a Harry Potter Experience to Mad about Science and Mission Impossible – all centred around fun, and not just for the kids. Fun Fest believes work should be fun and no two days should ever be the same.
To invest in Fun Fest is to invest in joy for life and a job that guarantees flexible working patterns. A Fun Fest franchise fits around your lifestyle, commitments and creativity. But the freedom to be your own boss – that’s simply magic.
