Joanna’s journey

Joanna proudly represents the UK, as part of our global team. She entered the world of beauty therapy at just 16, before venturing into entrepreneurship, with her own beauty business. Driven by excitement and curiosity, Joanna left Scotland, where she is from, to explore the beauty industry in countries like Spain, Australia and Dubai where she soon realised her love lies in the variety of life, and making sure no two days are the same.

Joanna joined the N.Bar family in 2021, using her knowledge and experience to develop the franchise training programme. She also plays a crucial role, alongside Sepi, Jody, and Silvana, elevating the N.Bar standards across all locations. “After gaining confidence in a beauty-focused training academy, I discovered N.Bar. Now, I am focused on helping others discover the joy of running their own N.Bar business, through our training programmes. This is the perfect place for me, as I can blend my passion for beauty and travel, and work alongside our global franchisee network to create a unique training experience for all.”

Trained for success

Our training programme will cover all aspects of running your new N.Bar business, for you and your team, and will cover things like: technical evaluations, hygiene protocols, customer service etiquette, and a strict adherence to our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). “When a franchisee starts,” Joanna explains, “we ensure you’ll understand the testing process. I’ll be with you, in your store, for three weeks: two weeks of training and one week for the store setup. Together, we can work through any challenges you may face as I’ll be there to give you my full support during your opening week, to address any hiccups.”

The support you’ll receive from our team, continues well after the initial setup, as Joanna provides you with her ongoing training and guidance to enhance your skills, as well as the skills of your team. Firstly, it’s about upskilling our team independently through resources like our Franchisee Community Portal with SOPs and instructional videos. This reduces the dependency on constant supervision. Secondly, whenever we introduce any new element, I ensure everyone is fully aligned with the changes.”
