Dyno continues to serve domestic and commercial customers more than 50 years after it was founded
The success of Dyno - one of the few franchises to become a true household name - is testament to the huge, ongoing demand for a range of property services.
Now the UK’s largest plumbing, heating and drainage engineering force, Dyno has a nationwide network of 60 franchises employing more than one thousand skilled engineers.
Proud
Michael Brocklebank, Dyno network optimisation manager, says: “We are extremely proud of our heritage and the traditional values of quality, service and professionalism, but also the introduction of new technologies and innovations as we continue to serve the people of Britain, sorting their home emergencies and supporting local communities and businesses.”
Dyno is the only national franchised home emergency company with the size and scale to support Britain’s homes and businesses when things go wrong. To put it in perspective, the company carries out a job every 35 seconds, 24 hours a day all year round.
Originally established as Dyno-Rod in 1963 by former airline pilot Jim Zockoll, the franchised business has grown into a nationwide 24-hour emergency repair service under the Dyno brand, covering repair and maintenance in drainage, plumbing and heating.
Fair, clear pricing with fixed price quotes, fully guaranteed work and quick response times delivered by an experienced, professional workforce are what underpin the success of this market leading brand.
Dyno continues to operate through a network of franchises fully supported from its base in Staines-upon-Thames, its centre of excellence in Stockport and a number of local offices up and down the country.
The business became part of the Centrica group in 2004 and is now a key part of British Gas, with a comprehensive support infrastructure, including a dedicated accounts team who look after 250-plus national accounts.
As the country’s biggest drainage service provider, Dyno also works closely with major insurance companies and helps to support insurance claims.
Dyno franchisee Daniel Bowyer says: “I love the fact every day is different and exciting. It’s a great comfort to know you’re working with a strong brand with great local awareness and that there are Dyno business professionals at the end of the phone to provide support when you need it.”
Awards
Dyno is a tried and tested business franchise that’s been recognised by the franchise industry through a number of awards for both the franchisor and individual franchisees. They are always on the lookout for outstanding candidates to join them as a new franchisee.
Experience in the drainage or plumbing and heating industries is not a prerequisite for any opportunity, as Dyno provides training and plentiful ongoing support.
Today a Dyno franchisee is a business professional, driving a market leading business and maximising local opportunities through the provision of the very best service customers have come to expect from the brand.
