Less than a week since the Business Excellence Forum & Awards 2019 ended, 1,300 tickets for the 2020 event had been reserved.
A testament to the inspirational two-day conference organised by ActionCOACH, the 2020 Forum has secured Sir Bob Geldof to join their list of world class speakers.
Every year, ActionCOACH hosts the Business Excellence Forum & Awards to recognise and honour the innovation, passion, risk taking and results of some of the best companies and business owners in the world. It brings together a like-minded community of entrepreneurs to share ideas, build relationships and learn from some phenomenal success stories.
This year’s event was held in the International Centre in Telford and brought together global thought leaders, including New York Times best-selling author James Clear, Sir Clive Woodward (pictured) and the world’s number one business coach Brad Sugars to educate and inspire Action Coaches and their clients.
Winning new clients is important, but we all know that it’s more profitable to keep existing clients than to find new ones, so ActionCOACH provides the most effective vehicle for you to increase your client retention. That’s where the Business Excellence Forum & Awards come in!
Rubina Lokat is Managing Partner at PrintPrint and an ActionCOACH client: “What an awesome couple of days! Some valuable lessons and takeaways but, if I was to choose just one quote to spur me on every day, it’s this: Every action you take is a vote for the type of person you wish to become.”
The awards evening celebrated the success stories of business owners and their teams across the UK and Europe. Independent family-owned ladies clothing company Tilletts took Best Overall Company, while HayPigs!, the niche business that designs and sells accessories for guinea pigs and other small animals, took Best Retailer.
‘Pig-dad’ and Ringmaster at HayPigs!, Rik Cridland, couldn’t believe the support he got from the crowd: “What an amazing reaction to our award win. We were not expecting to win, let alone receive such love and well wishes. Thanks go to my Action Coach Sean Purcell and my wife, Helen, who stayed at home with all the little piggies.”
John McHale, ActionCOACH franchise partner in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire for the past five years, summed it up nicely: “Wow! And I mean WOW!! What an amazing conference. Previous events have been bloomin’, good but this was at a new level.”
John extolled the virtues of Michael Heppell as the professional host of both the two-day forum and the awards night: “The fun of the awards night brought everyone together and inspired others to strive for a business worthy of entering next year. Even a welcome event the night before the conference to bond the delegates, starting as you mean to go with music and networking in a relaxed environment.
“Overall, the feedback to me from people who have attended previously has been that this year was just sensational. Oh, and to top it all off, you offer next year at a lower price and with a line-up already secured with sensational names.
“I have always been proud to be associated with ActionCOACH - even in my lowest points - and these days it just gets better and better and better being part of all this. I brought 22 people this year - I am hoping to double that for next year.”
It sounds like the 2,020 places for the Business Excellence Forum & Awards 2020 at Celtic Manor will sell out by the end of the month. That will be around 300 franchise partners, senior partners, and employee coaches, plus 1,700 ActionCOACH clients, with Clare Balding hosting the conference and awards.
