Anytime Fitness UK appoints Ian Roberts as managing director

Ian joins the fitness franchise as it targets continued success and growth in the UK and Ireland markets

Anytime Fitness UK has announced the appointment of Ian Roberts as its new managing director. Ian assumed the role in November and brings over 20 years of franchising experience to the business; his most recent role prior to joining Anytime Fitness UK was managing director for Asian food franchise brand KellyDeli.

A business leader with an excellent track record in business management and international franchise development, spanning Northern, Central and Eastern Europe, Nordics and Africa, Ian led the franchise development and growth strategy at KellyDeli, a £70m turnover business operating a network of 150+ franchisees.

Prior to this, Ian was regional director for global car-rental company Avis Budget Group, and international franchise development consultant with Godiva Chocolatier.
