Experienced sales professional is latest hire for Business Partnership
Simon Tomkins (pictured) will offer a comprehensive brokerage service to business buyers and sellers, following his appointment as Business Partnership’s regional partner for Brighton, Chichester and Horsham in Sussex.
He brings 30 years of sales experience to the franchised network of specialists, which spans the UK from Devon to the Scottish Highlands.
Initially employed by a franchise operator, Simon joined a multinational print hardware supplier and used the experience gained of both small, family-owned and corporate business to launch his own company in the same sector 17 years ago.
Simon first encountered Business Partnership while searching for a new business to buy and was impressed by the company’s commitment to guiding buyers and sellers through the process and providing all the information both parties require.
He says: “When the opportunity arose to join Business Partnership as a broker, I had evaluated many businesses from the perspective of a potential buyer and knew what I valued and what I didn’t.
“My experience and credibility in running a successful business will bring other skills to my new role, allowing me to meet the expectations of both sellers and buyers and manage sales professionally.”
Business Partnership has 20 regional partners. Last year the combined sale value for clients nationally was more than £13.5 million.
