The award-winning network continues to drive the franchise business forward
Concept Claim Solutions has been named Loss Assessor of the Year 2026 at the British Claims Awards, recognising the company’s commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for customers and raising standards across the property insurance claims sector.
At its heart, loss assessing is about helping people, not simply repairing buildings. Assessors are required to stand up for what is fair, challenge decisions when necessary and ensure policyholders receive the full benefit of the cover they have paid for, without being forced to compromise on the quality of repairs or the future integrity of their property.
Above all, they must be a trusted advocate at a time when people need one most, providing confidence during uncertainty, protecting customers’ interests and helping them recover as quickly and smoothly as possible.
That philosophy, demonstrated every day across the Concept Claim Solutions network, has earned the business one of the most respected accolades in the claims sector.

Organised by Claims Media, the British Claims Awards celebrate the exceptional individuals, teams, and businesses shaping the UK claims sector. From insurers and MGAs to legal service providers, loss adjusters, and insurtechs, the awards recognise those driving progress, championing best practice, and delivering outstanding service.
Throughout 2025, Concept Claim Solutions further enhanced quality standards and expanded specialist support, ensuring customers across the UK continue to benefit from high-quality representation and expert guidance throughout the insurance claims process.
The evening also marked another strong year for the business. Having won Outstanding Services to Policyholders at the British Claims Awards in 2025, Concept Claim Solutions returned this year as a finalist in the same category, while Andy Walmsley was also shortlisted for Claims Director of the Year. Although those awards were not secured on the night, the nominations further reflected the values and the culture that continues to drive the business forward.
Commenting on the award, British Claims Award judge (CII Claims Community Board Member) Chris Hall, said, “It has been a real privilege to chair the judging panel for the British Claims Awards 2026. The volume and standard of entries were truly exceptional, with every submission showcasing remarkable achievement and dedication. All finalists should be immensely proud of their recognition the quality of this year’s entries made the judging process both highly competitive and genuinely inspiring.”

Director of Concept Claim Solutions, Andy Walmsley, said: “To be recognised across three categories at the British Claims Awards and to win Loss Assessor of the Year is incredibly rewarding because it reflects the strength of the business as a whole. It recognises not only the outcomes we achieve, but the culture we have built, the standards we set and the collective efforts of people across the organisation who are committed to doing the right thing for customers every day.
“While we are proud of this achievement, we see it as a platform to build upon rather than a destination. The claims landscape continues to evolve, and so do customer expectations. Our focus remains on investing in our people, strengthening expertise and continually improving the experience we deliver, ensuring customers receive the highest standards of representation and support.”
For those exploring their next career or business venture, the Loss Assessor of the Year title is more than industry recognition. It is evidence of what can be achieved when expertise, purpose and entrepreneurial ambition come together.
