Driver Hire secures latest national account contract

The team finalised an agreement with Team Knowhow, the services division of electrical and telecoms retailer Dixons Carphone

Driver Hire’s national accounts team has finalised an agreement with Team Knowhow, the services division of electrical and telecoms retailer Dixons Carphone, which enables its franchisees to trade with Team Knowhow depots across the UK.

Team Knowhow technicians deliver a wide variety of electrical and white goods, as well as providing after sales support, to Currys PC World and Carphone Warehouse customers.

Driver Hire has been a leading franchise business in the recruitment sector for over 30 years.

It’s the UK’s largest specialist supplier of temporary and permanent drivers and logistics staff to the transport and logistics industry.

Sarah Brennan, the company’s national accounts manager, says: “We’re delighted that Team Knowhow has added Driver Hire to their list of suppliers.

“Their selection process was heavily focused around compliance. They were impressed with Driver Hire’s rigorous vetting processes, operating systems and specialism within the transport and logistics sector.”

Team Knowhow has 21 depots covering the whole of the UK from Plymouth to Aberdeen.

“Driver Hire’s nationwide coverage means we’re ideally suited to meet their needs,” Sarah adds.

“We’ll be supplying them primarily with truck and van drivers and porters. We’re looking forward to working with them.”
