Hero Brands appoints new franchise director

Chris Palmer has joined the fast-casual food franchisor and will spearhead its franchise recruitment strategy throughout Europe.

Previously European franchise manager for Taco Bell, he has been charged with developing and growing brand partnerships across the region.

Hero Brands’ UK franchises include German Doner Kebab and Choppaluna. German Doner Kebab has around 700 franchises worldwide, while Choppaluna will open its first flagship store in Bloomsbury, London in October.

Billed as a new way to eat and a healthy alternative to classic fast food, Choppaluna has already signed up 12 franchises, with another 60 ready to go.

Chris says: “It’s very exciting to be joining Hero Brands as it forges ahead with plans to disrupt the fast-casual space.
