International Franchise Show London attracts record visitor levels

The International Franchise Show London celebrated 10 years of connecting prospective franchisees with franchisors by attracting a record number of visitors to the event on April 5-6.

9,642 visitors from the UK, as well as countries such as Germany, South Africa, Turkey and America, took the opportunity to meet with over 180 exhibitors and take advantage of the comprehensive seminar programme, which featured some of the leading names in the industry.

Other key stats from the show include:

• 58 per cent of visitors are looking to franchise imminently.

• 41 per cent of visitors have investment levels greater than £50,000.

• 54 per cent of visitors previously owned a business.

• 58 per cent of visitors would consider relocating for the right franchise opportunity.

Joshua Christopher, marketing manager for the International Franchise Show London, says: “April 5th and 6th saw the International Franchise Show return to London ExCeL for our 10th year anniversary, celebrating the UK’s biggest selection of British and international franchise brands all under one roof.

“Thousands of budding entrepreneurs filtered through the doors eager to discover their perfect franchise opportunity. Hundreds of established and new franchise concepts showcased their opportunity, all seeking the attention of potential investors.

“We are so pleased to yet again produce record breaking figures and to connect potential franchisees with franchisors who’ll support the growth of exciting journeys that lay ahead.

“We’ve had lots of great feedback from this year’s event, both at the show and following via our post show survey, and we are already looking forward to welcoming back familiar faces to our 2020 show.”

Next year’s show, which takes place at ExCeL London, is on April 3-4.
