A low-cost broadband deal from Redten Internet targeted at start-up and SMEs has been launched.

For a monthly fee of £19.99 (excl VAT) customers will receive a high-speed internet connection plus a comprehensive PC package worth £500 and a full technical support service.

For an additional pound a month or a one-off charge of £32 businesses can even have their PC and internet connection set up for them.

The PC arrives fully configured and ready to connect to the internet. It comes with an LG flatscreen monitor, Microsoft Windows XP MCE 2005 operating system, Intel Pentium 4 processor, DVD writer and stereo speakers. The package is backed by a three-year warranty and three-year anti-virus and anti-spam protection services. The offer also includes free software titles, a free operating system upgrade voucher, free bandwidth upgrade and an automatic computer upgrade when the three-year contract is renewed.

The service includes up to 8Mb broadband connection, unlimited downloads, a static IP address, five email addresses and 10GB of web space.
