ourHRpeople franchisee recoups initial investment in five weeks

Jackie Hudson also billed over £16,000 in her third month of trading

A fledgling franchisee has got off to a flying start after buying a ourHRpeople franchise in September last year.

Within five weeks of opening for business, Jackie Hudson, director of ourHRpeople Hampshire East, recouped her franchise investment and in November billed £16,414.

She says: “My earnings are on a par with my previous base salary as a HR director, but working half the hours and without the same levels of stress.”

Unlike other human resources franchises, ourHRpeople doesn’t take a percentage of its franchisees’ earnings, only an initial investment.

“The rewards are variety, a better work-life balance, no more 13-hour minimum days and maintaining my earnings capability,” Jackie says.

One of the benefits when she invested in ourHRpeople was that Jackie was given a client to work with from day one. She now works with four active clients, averaging 26.75 client hours a week.

“At the moment, I’m working hard to build my client base and putting in the hours, but with far more flexibility,” Jackie says.

“I love being able to go out during the day and if I want to cut my hours down I can.”
