Papa John’s opens latest franchise in Droitwich Spa

Multi-unit franchisee, Atif Maroof Zar, adds to his franchise network

Atif Maroof Zar loves pizza, and so do his brothers Umair Ramay and Amir Maroof. The opening of the latest Papa John’s franchise in Droitwich Spa brings the brothers’ combined total to 10 units and its employees to over 100.

Prior to becoming a franchisee, Atif worked for two rival pizza firms and then managed a Papa John’s before becoming a franchisee in 2017.

Talking about his latest franchise Atif said: “Droitwich Spar is a beautiful town with lots of potential. We have received a warm welcome from the local community, hungry to try our superb quality Papa John’s pizza made with only the freshest, finest ingredients. There are many families living nearby and they can now enjoy the treat of their favourite Papa John’s pizza to share for a special occasion, or simply a great meal delivered right to their door.

“In addition to the Droitwich Spa store, we are planning a further West Midlands opening very soon. Building a cluster of stores adds efficiencies and is helpful for recruitment. We are always looking to add more talented team members!

“Our people are the secret to our success, and we have an excellent team around us. Umair, Amir and I, are hands-on managers and we are always available to help the store teams so they can do their jobs better. We all work hard and have fun!
