Resin flooring specialist launches franchise opportunity

Oltco’s franchise scheme aims to amplify its thriving model across the country, according to the company.

Its first franchise in Blackpool has already proven successful, with a high number of projects completed in the surrounding area.

Established in Cornwall as a family business 15 years ago, Oltco provides driveways and floorings for domestic and commercial clients.

Oltco director Johnny Pearce says: “By becoming a franchisee of Oltco and being your own boss, you remove the trepidation of setting out into the unknown unsupported.

“We are not looking for experts in resin, but for hard-working individuals who are committed to ensuring the success of the company.

“We are currently in the process of becoming a member of the British Franchise Association and are delighted to have our first franchisee on board.”

The average investment for the franchise is £15,000 (plus VAT), plus a £5,000 (plus VAT) marketing launch campaign.

Working capital of £25,000 is recommended for additional funds for vans, initial products, wages and additional marketing.

Oltco can offer funding assistance via its partnership with NatWest, which is supporting the business model and is keen to work with future franchisees.

The franchise package includes two weeks of intensive training at Oltco head office in Cornwall.

Ongoing support, including installation and sales courses, is also provided.
