Top ChipsAway franchisees recognised at annual awards event

Franchisee Tan Likiliki took home ChipsAway’s Mobile Franchisee of the Year accolade

Tan Likiliki won ChipsAway’s coveted Mobile Franchisee of the Year at the automotive paintwork repair specialist’s recent awards dinner.

The event was part of ChipsAway’s annual conference, where 240 delegates celebrated the company’s 25th anniversary.

Other winners included Andy Hobbs, who was awarded Newcomer of the Year, while Phil and Cas Clifford-Wareham (pictured) took two prizes: one for Marketeer of the Year and one for Car Care Centre of the Year.

Brian and Amanda Palmer won ChipsAway’s Customer Service Award and Matthew Leeson was awarded Franchisee’s Unsung Hero for his outstanding contribution to the network.

Tim Harris, managing director of ChipsAway, says: “Tan is an extremely valued member of the ChipsAway network and very worthy winner of this title. He embodies the key values of the ChipsAway brand by delivering exceptional quality repairs, outstanding customer service and ultimately managing a fantastic local business.”

The conference was kicked off by Tim, who highlighted the key areas for growth and development. This was followed by an update from technical director Simon Kings, who spoke about ChipsAway’s dedication to training the franchise network on electric vehicles, advanced dent removal and advanced driver assistance systems.

Ella Pugh, head of sales and marketing, concluded the presentations by outlining ChipsAway’s marketing achievements in 2019.

The conference also featured a vendor show, where key industry experts and suppliers exhibited products.

Phil Clifford-Wareham says: “We had a fantastic day and night. The effort and work which goes into the annual conference is clear for all to see and the whole team gets so much out of attending.

“It was very unexpected and a huge honour to be awarded Car Care Centre of the Year, not to mention winning the marketing award, and we’re looking forward to putting our ambitious plans for the future into action with the help and support of the great team at head office.”
