Betterclean Services has been offering commercial cleaning services to local businesses since 1995; in 2005 Dan van Kuyk, already an experienced franchise holder, purchased the business. At that time turnover was approximately £140,000 but with Dan at the helm, the business expanded rapidly over five years to employ over 100 staff with a turnover of around £750,000.

Each franchise territory has been designed to provide equal potential, and average net profit margins are in the region of 20 per cent. Betterclean Services have one of the lowest management service fees in the industry at 5.75 per cent; this contributes to a sustainable profit margin in a very competitive industry.
