How does the Robocore franchise model work?

The Robocore franchise model allows the entrepreneur to open their business with Robocore’s recruitment business model, which is a good way to get started and follow a successful blueprint with proven scalability. Franchisees enjoy the flexibility of working for themselves, choosing their own hours while receiving full operational support including graphic design work, marketing, accounts, legal assistance to name a few. Activities include weekly business, management and tech meetings conducted in Agile, which allows remote teams to work and grow effectively together, increasing productivity naturally.

Franchisees create relationships on both sides of the recruitment equation – the hiring company (client) and the talent side (candidate). The franchisee agrees on a fee with the client for placing a candidate with them. The fee in the UK ranges between 15 to 20 per cent of the first year’s salary for the candidate. When the hiring company accepts the candidate and pays the hiring fee invoice, Robocore then pays the franchisee a commission starting at 71 per cent.

Robocore has three models designed for beginners, experienced recruiters and recruitment breakaway teams:
Gold: This is designed for a team of three or more entrepreneurs who are looking to break away to start their own company, with a solid business model and scaling in mind.
Silver: Designed for two or more entrepreneurs, to start their own business with less upfront commitment.
Bronze: Designed for the recruitment entrepreneur that wants to start their own business and go solo.

What is Robocore looking for in its franchisees?

Franchisees come from many diverse backgrounds from approximately 15 different countries worldwide. Robocore looks for people with business development or sales skills, relationship and people skills. They need to be resilient and hardworking with ambition and be team players.

What training and support is available for franchisees?

One-to-one training is completed online and worked around the time schedule of the franchisee and the team. Sessions are recorded for reference. The training is flexible and can span between four to 12 weeks, according to availability. The selection process typically takes about four weeks and involves an initial call followed by two online demos conducted by the team to present firstly, a general overview and secondly, a closer look at the digital platform. Franchisees also get two group training sessions per week, every week that is voluntary and covers any range of subjects relating to the recruitment process.

Since launching in February 2019 and over the last three years, through the pandemic, Robocore has grown from zero to 40 franchisees worldwide with three of those dropping out.

How much does a Robocore franchise cost?

Based on a five-year contract, there is no franchise fee for three years, thereafter it is £200 per month for years 4 and 5. Revenue can be generated almost straight away but typically three to four months is when franchisees can start to see income from £5,000 upwards per placement.

Franchisees work from home on an online business in which they control the time and hours they put into the business. Robocore has an uncapped commission structure that, in realistic terms, offers them an income range of between £50,000 and £200,000 per year. This is not guaranteed and is based on training and commitment from them.

What locations or territories is Robocore looking to operate in?

All locations are open; it’s not a territory-based business as it is all done online.

What are the franchise terms of agreement and renewal?

It is a five-year contract with a 30-day notice period to leave and there are no renewal fees.
