Business Partnership’s rapid expansion continues with the appointment of new regional partner
Chris Davies has been named as Business Partnership’s regional partner for the East Midlands, where he will be supporting business buyers and sellers in Derby and Nottingham.
With a background in engineering, Chris spent more than a decade in the aerospace and rail sectors, working in sales, procurement, programme management and engineering, before becoming his own boss in 2007 after leading a successful management buyout of one of the businesses he had been running.
Following a bolt-on acquisition, the business was sold to a major supplier.
Three years ago, Chris decided to leave the corporate world and has since set up a leisure and hospitality company specialising in luxury holiday accommodation for large groups.
He was introduced to Business Partnership 14 years ago when he was looking to buy a new business.
Chris says: “Tim Bayley, the regional partner for Birmingham and Warwickshire, was handling the sale and even though it didn’t work out he taught me the valuable lesson that there will always be a buyer for every business.
“I’ve managed businesses through good and difficult times and understand the pressures and opportunities involved in running, owning and selling your business to gain maximum value.
