Sales soared to new heights recently with the trialing of its Lemon Pepper Wings, resulting in 1,200 portions being sold in one weekend alone
The franchised restaurant chain famed for its fresh, tasty burgers introduced Lemon Pepper Wings as a trial to offer more choice to its growing customer base in the West Midlands.
Saad Masood, founder of Burger & Sauce, talks about the inspiration behind the new dish: “My wife Zenarahim likes to get creative in the kitchen! She’s been working on some fabulous new flavours to enhance chicken wings and came up with an all-butter glaze with lemon and fresh parsley. We felt this superb combination would cater to our customers looking for an extra side to accompany one of our fresh burgers.
“We trialled Lemon Pepper Wings across all of our franchised stores, and they were literally a sell-out!”
The popularity of Lemon Pepper Wings means they will be given a permanent place on the Burger & Sauce menu later this year.
The franchise aims to establish 300-plus stores across the UK and to become the household name for fresh burgers and is already on target for double-digit store openings by the end of 2022.
