Business Doctors set to launch in West Norfolk

Franchisee Russell Atkinson knew that the next stage of his career was going to be about supporting SMEs

Business Doctors has welcomed Russell Atkinson into its growing team. Russell will be supporting SMEs in the Peterborough and West Norfolk region, an area familiar to him having lived there for over 24 years.

Russell has a broad range of experiences behind him, gathered from an impressive 30-year career. After working in various sales and marketing roles, his career became more focused on general management and running businesses. Most recently, he was CEO at the NAHL Group plc, which provides services to the legal industry.

After a long time working in the corporate world, Russell knew that the next stage of his career was going to be about supporting SMEs.

“I’ve accumulated 30 years of experience, gleaned from successes as well as failures, and I’d like to share some of this wisdom, with small business owners in the Peterborough and West Norfolk region,” he said. “Business Doctors is a dedicated company that ensures SMEs at the heart of everything they do.

“I’m buying into an established brand which will give my new business a head start and immediate access to the collateral, the training and the shared knowledge from like-minded individuals.”

Russell recently finished his training, which has already helped him in setting a clear plan of action.

“It’s really helped me to understand how I’ll go about establishing myself and the brand in the area,” he explained. “I’ll start by building a face-to-face network of people, contacts and key influencers across the region, supported by a social media network across the key channels. I’ll then leverage this to deliver our products and services to build a successful franchise that supports the growth of local businesses and contributes to the economy of the East of England region.”
