CHEMEX FRANCHISEES CELEBRATE AFTER BREAKING TURNOVER RECORD

Stephen and Margaret Crinks have become the company’s first UK franchisees to turn over £300,000 from a single van.

The couple supply cleaning and hygiene products to customers across Berkshire and Hampshire.

Chemex managing director Michael Graham says: “This is a terrific result by Stephen and Margaret and demonstrates just what can be achieved with a dedicated approach.

“Many of our franchisees top £250,000 a year, but this is the first time anyone has taken it past the £300,000 mark.”

Stephen (pictured), a franchisee with Chemex for more than 20 years, said the key to their success was building strong relationships with customers:

“We invest time in developing customer relationships and make sure we understand their business and their individual needs.”

He adds: “Franchising has been good to us and we would recommend it to anybody.

“We could not have achieved what we have as an independent business and a nice bonus is that many of our customers are now good friends too.”
