Ecocleen appoints chief operations officer

The Vastly experienced Francois Oosthuizen is a former COO of Servest Group

Commercial contract cleaning specialist Ecocleen has made Francois Oosthuizen its chief operations officer.

The former chief operating officer at Servest Group has over 20 years’ experience in the facilities management sector.

After holding several operational positions at the Servest Group, Francois became managing director in January 2012 and successfully grew the business from 4,500 cleaners to close to 10,000 by the end of 2016.

He says: “I’m thrilled to be joining the Ecocleen team and look forward to rapidly expanding through acquisitional and organic growth and building on the exceptional leadership of Henry and Jean-Henri Beukes.”

Jean-Henri Beukes, CEO of Ecocleen, says: “I’m confident Francois can bring the required skill and experience this role needs and provide a great contribution to our company vision as we navigate our ambitious growth plans.”

Francois’ appointment comes within weeks of Ecocleen appointing a business development manager and bid writer to support its expansion.
