Franchise operations manual workshop

Business Link Hertfordshire is running a ‘Writing a Franchise Operations Manual’ workshop on November 29. The event takes place at its offices in St Albans and costs £125 (plus VAT).

Workshop leader, Penny Hopkinson, founder of Manual Writers International, has over 17 years’ experience in the field. Her publishing consultancy specialises in developing detailed operational manuals for franchises, licences and distribution networks.

“Many SMEs need professional guidance on where and how to start mapping out all the elements that must be included in their manual,” says Hopkinson. “This workshop will give them a broad understanding of how to develop a basic structure, part of which will be a session on how to profile the ideal franchisee and develop a robust recruitment process.”
