GoCruise & Travel hosts top franchisee achievers on Cunard’s Queen Mary 2

40 attendees, including stars of the future, enjoyed an immersive networking experience

GoCruise & Travel recently hosted its top achievers and “one-to-watch” business stars of the future on board Cunard’s Queen Mary 2. The four-night Top Achievers cruise between Southampton and Hamburg took place from 12 to 16 May and included an immersive experience for the 40 franchisee attendees, allowing them to sample everything that Cunard offers its customers, receive key business updates from both Cunard and GoCruise & Travel, and spend time connecting with fellow franchisees.

Since returning, several of the franchisees have already used the experience and repaid Cunard’s hospitality with new bookings, including one worth over £40,000 by Martyn and Zoe Coope. In addition, franchisee Jane Chadwick was so impressed with her on board experience that she switched a client to Cunard following the cancellation of a cruise.

Commenting on the cruise, Colin Martin-Weekes, Head of Franchise, said: “Celebrating the success of our franchisees on our Top Achievers trip is one of just many highlights of my year. This year, for the first time ever, we also included our rising stars to encourage them and give them a taste of what it’s like to be a top achiever with GoCruise & Travel. Hopefully this has given them the passion and desire to be included on this sought-after experience next year.

“It was a pleasure to co-host with our friends at Cunard and to experience the timeless elegance of Queen Mary 2 as well as Cunard’s legendary white star service. These experiences truly create a sense of community and friendship, and it was wonderful to see our franchisees connecting, sharing their business journey, and helping each other succeed with their business. I’m already starting the plans for next year.”

Franchisee Christina Astill agreed. “It has definitely reignited my love for Cunard,” she said. “I feel like I’ve been on holiday with a group of friends – some old and some new – and I think it really epitomises GoCruise & Travel and our friendly support for each other.”

And franchisee Rich Rochester summed up attendees’ feelings:  “Thank you to all those involved for all your wonderful arrangements. It was a great few days away that showcased Queen Mary 2 and Cunard so well. Being able to meet and chat to fellow franchisees means that I’ve come away invigorated and ready to drive my business forward.”
