Making your own decisions is considered the best aspect of owning and running a business, according to three out of four London entrepreneurs.
The research, commissioned by Business Link for London, the small business and advice support service for the capital, polled 2,452 Londoners, who said that making money for themselves and having the status of being their own boss were less important than being the master of their own destiny.
Says Judith Rutherford, Business Link for London’s chief executive: “Running a business offers a number of benefits and for many people this means being able to take control over their working lives.”
