University graduate Jacob Turner joins award winning business as demand for services grow

Jacob Turner is Rev PR’s new publicist. He joins the award winning public relations business after graduating from Nottingham Trent University this summer.

Jacob (pictured) says: “I can’t wait to get stuck in and work with some of the exciting clients we have on the books.

“Franchises like Code Ninjas and ActionCOACH are expanding rapidly and I’m so excited to play a role in their development.

“As for working with the team, it’s such a great opportunity for me to work with this group.

“After talking with co-founders Sally Butters and Lucy Archer, it was obvious to me that this is an environment I could thrive in.”

In 2019, Rev PR won several prestigious accolades, including the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ Outstanding Small PR Consultancy, Best Marketing & PR Business at the Best Business Women Awards and the Best Service Provider 2019 at The Best Franchise Awards.

But even with these successes, co-founder Lucy insisted that being able to hire in the current climate was to be celebrated just as much.

“It’s been difficult for businesses during the COVID-19 era,” she says. “But a good PR team is essential to franchises being able to bounce back.

“This is something our clients have recognised and it became apparent pretty quickly we would need to expand to keep up with demand and continue providing the best quality service to our clients.”

Co-founder Sally echoed Lucy’s sentiments, adding: “We’re excited to have Jacob on board - he’s shown us he’s driven and hungry to learn. He’s a great addition to TeamRev.”
