Right at Home UK retains ‘5 Star Employer’ status

Home care franchise also scores highly in client satisfaction survey and picks up national awards

National home care franchise Right at Home UK has won a 5 Star Employer Award for the third consecutive year, following an anonymised network-wide CareGiver satisfaction survey that’s run annually by independent research company WorkBuzz.

In addition to the network’s national award, 27 Right at Home offices also achieved local 5 Star Employer status.

A total of 1,821 CareGivers took part in the satisfaction survey. Highlights include:

• 93 per cent said they would recommend Right at Home’s care services.
• 93 per cent are proud to work for Right at Home.
• 90 per cent of CareGivers would recommend Right at Home as a great place to work

Ken Deary, Right at Home UK’s CEO, says: “The network’s investment in this annual survey reflects our commitment to ensuring the very best training and support for our care teams.

“Our CareGivers are the beating heart of our business and without them we would not be able to deliver the high quality care we’re known for, so these surveys are of great importance to us.

“From the results, each office will devise a plan of action to respond and implement changes, based on the valuable feedback provided by our CareGivers.”

Right at Home UK also invests in an annual client satisfaction survey, which this year was completed by 980 clients. Highlights include:

• 97 per cent agreed their CareGivers make a positive difference.
• 96 per cent would recommend Right at Home.
• 95 per cent said their CareGivers are well matched to their care needs.

Fresh off the back of these results, Right at Home UK won the Recruitment, Retention and Staff Expertise accolade at the National Home Care Awards on April 23, with its Portsmouth office winning the Team Support category.

Right at Home UK was also highly commended for its response to the coronavirus pandemic.
