A website is to be launched on February 20 that advises small businesses on how to manage and minimise their tax costs.
The site - www.taxreport.co.uk - provides visitors with access to a team of professional small business advisers who can provide tailored answers to even the most complex tax questions.
According to a recent World Bank report, the UK has over 8,300 pages of tax rules, compared to 1,300 in France and 1,700 in Germany. To help make sense of these rules, Taxreport includes a regularly updated archive of tax hints and tips advising on starting a new business, filling in tax returns, managing VAT, Budget day implications and other tax news. In addition, members can ask specific questions of the Taxreport team.
Andy Hyland, founder of Taxreport, is confident that he can save his members thousands of pounds. He says: “So many small businesses pay more tax than they should. Sometimes they’ve relied too much on their accountant. Other times it’s because they’ve tried to do things themselves, but don’t have the help or knowledge to plan well.
“We can help business people take control of their tax expenditure and reap the maximum rewards for their hard work.”
Membership of Taxreport, which includes full access to the site and its team of professional advisers, costs £19.95 a month. For a limited period the monthly membership fee has been reduced to £9.95.
