The Massage Company opens first London location

1,900 sq ft Putney centre to house eight treatment rooms and a team of up to 20 therapists

The Massage Company has opened its latest franchised centre in Putney, south west London, its first in the capital.

Adding to its existing outlets in Camberley, Tunbridge Wells, High Wycombe and Sutton Coldfield, the location at Putney Exchange is TMC’s fifth UK franchisee location.

It comes at a time when the business is seeing an increase in demand for its services, following the easing of lockdown restrictions.

Open seven days a week, TMC’s new 1,900 sq ft centre will operate under a franchise agreement on a 10-year lease.

It will house eight treatment rooms and a team of up to 20 therapists, who are projected to provide treatments to thousands of customers a month.

Retail property expert Matt Gillson, who’s also a director of commercial real estate specialist CBRE, once again collaborated with TMC on securing the venue and will continue to advise on additional territories where TMC is looking to open new facilities.
