Tim and wife Jenny are franchisees for Guildford, Godalming and Woking
The Guildford, Godalming and Woking franchise of Seniors Helping Seniors has changed hands, with Andy Boothman selling his second franchise. The buyers were Tim and Jenny Heaney, who will be at the International Franchise Show in London’s ExCeL on 8 and 9 April 2022.
Having previously worked in a high performing retail role, Tim knows a thing or two about customer service, and indeed prior to becoming a franchisee, he actually worked as a carer for Seniors Helping Seniors. For him, it was a no-brainer to invest in a franchise.
Tim said: “The approach Seniors Helping Seniors has to both carers and the service it offers to clients, stood head and shoulders above anything else I have ever seen.”
Having decided to purchase the franchise, the next step for Tim and Jenny was to reach out to UK master franchise owners, Christian and Sally Wilse. Tim was full of praise for Christian and Sally.
He said: “The team is amazing, and I was inspired by the growth potential. I have an opportunity to pool all my professional experiences and work for my own success doing something immensely worthwhile within an ambitious and fun team. The training was five-star and I know which levers to pull to take the business where I want to take it. I am already seeing the results.”
Christian said: “We’re grateful for the job Andy did for the brand and delighted to welcome Tim and Jenny. Tim comes on board just as our CQC registration provides new options for our franchisees. None of our businesses is obliged to provide regulated care services because the brand specialises in companionship care but we’re excited to see who follows the lead into personal care services!”
It is not surprising to see one of Seniors Helping Seniors’ carers succeed as the company prioritises its carers — winning the Living Wage Foundation’s Champion award for the Care Sector in 2021.
