Top franchise lawyer sets up new practice

Andrew Fraser has established a new boutique practice called Albany Fraser Solicitors, based in Glasgow.

The firm aims to be one of the leading sources of professional franchising advice in the UK, both for people looking to grow their business through franchising and for those looking to invest in a franchise opportunity.

Previously, Andrew was a senior associate at leading Scottish law firm Harper Macleod, where he spent seven years advising clients on franchising, intellectual property and brand protection matters. 

Andrew also has Qualified Franchise Professional status, awarded by the British Franchise Association, and prior to becoming a franchising lawyer spent a number of years as a franchise consultant working with businesses of all shapes and sizes, including Ralph Lauren, American Eagle and Esprit.
