Over 500 franchisees and partners attended The Travel Franchise’s 2025 UK Conference in early January to celebrate the company’s growth and learn about its future plans
Themed ‘The Next Chapter’, the event in Wolverhampton saw the company’s co-founders, Paul Harrison and Steve Witt, highlight a series of milestones achieved in 2024. These included extra commission paid to consultants, as well as record-breaking average booking values and bookings per consultant per month, alongside an expanded and strengthened business development and training team.
The achievements of a support and operations team that handled 29,000 calls and 36,000 emails while keeping wait times to a minimum were also celebrated, as were the eight major overseas trips the company hosted for its consultants.
Commenting on these achievements, Steve Witt said, “The last few years have been nothing short of phenomenal. We’ve invested millions in cutting-edge technology and our amazing team. With an incredible leadership team and a powerhouse of industry experts, we’re ready to skyrocket our sales even further.”
Three of the company’s celebrity ambassadors were present, including broadcaster Eamonn Holmes OBE, Olympic gold medallist Daley Thompson CBE, and TV presenter and travel expert Hayley Sparkes, alongside keynote speaker, Dame Irene Hays – chair of Hays Travel, the UK’s largest independent travel agent.
The latter took the stage to commend The Travel Franchise’s rapid growth and reflect on the positive news that an increasing number of consumers are choosing travel consultants for their holiday bookings.
Also attending the conference were more than 50 top travel suppliers – including the Jamaica Tourist Board, EasyJet, Virgin Voyages, TUI, Beachcomber, P&O Cruises, MSC Cruises, Gold Medal, and more – which used the event to showcase their offerings, giving consultants the chance to network, discover the latest travel trends, and gain insights into what’s to come in 2025 and beyond.
More good news is expected for 2025. During the two-day conference, the co-founders announced further investment in tools designed to provide further support for its consultants, including free access to the industry-leading T-Profile quotation tool, which allows consultants to create professional-looking quotes in minutes.
