The leading home care brand is offering prospective franchisees a look behind the scenes
If you are considering buying a franchise and are looking for a business that delivers both purpose and profit, the chance to speak to Home Instead franchisees live about their experiences of working with the home care brand is one you won’t want to miss.
For over 20 years, Home Instead has been supporting entrepreneurs across the UK to build successful, sustainable businesses that help older adults live well at home. Thanks to its trusted brand, award-winning model, and a rapidly growing market, its franchisees don’t just run home care businesses; they lead thriving, purpose-driven organisations.
On 25 September at 1pm, the brand will be taking prospective franchisees behind the scenes for a live Q&A webinar. This will feature a panel of franchisees who will share their stories, experiences, and the realities of running their own successful care businesses; there will also be the opportunity to ask questions and gain further insights.
Meet the panel
- Wafa Mohbubul: At just 24 years old, Wafa is the dynamic young franchise owner of Home Instead Broadstairs, Ramsgate & Margate. Having started her journey with the brand as a care professional, she quickly climbed the ladder to ownership. Wafa is passionate about delivering high-quality care, digital innovation, and building a motivated team culture.
Franchising appealed to Wafa because of the structure, support network and sense of community that it provides. Owning a franchise has shifted Wafa’s personal goals. Instead of dreaming about working her way up the corporate ladder, she now dreams of having 10 franchises in the UK and internationally. - Mandy Aitken: Mandy was inspired to join Home Instead after a conversation with an existing owner and a visit to the Home Instead national office, where she was impressed by the company’s mission and impact. With a background in finance, she valued the proven business model, ongoing innovation, and strong franchisor support, particularly in customer acquisition, training, and technology.
Actively involved in community initiatives like Dementia Friends and companionship cafés, Mandy credits her success to a willingness to follow the model, step out of her comfort zone, and embrace growth opportunities with confidence. - Sunny Singh: Sunny, an ambitious entrepreneur, bought Home Instead South East Northumberland in 2023, and became a multi-unit owner in 2024. Keen to embark on a business journey but knowing a start-up wasn’t right for him, Sunny began looking at existing franchise businesses he could continue to grow.
Sunny was keen to establish a business that helped people in a similar position to him, and he could see what an important contribution to the local area it would make.
Buying a resale franchise, Sunny was pleased to take over a business that already had a strong local reputation, an established team, and was growing. Sunny has continued to grow the business with ambitions to double turnover by 2025.
