Sherpa Kids – an international company that runs before and after school clubs and holidays activities for primary school-aged children – is looking for five regional / master country franchisees to help it expand its ‘fresh and vibrant services’ for families across England.

Sherpa Kids’ activities include arts and crafts, music and drama, sport and games, cooking and technology. Many of them are based on specific themes, such as the Circus, Recycling, Sporting Events and Space, and they are tailored to fit in with the individual requirements of schools and their curriculums. More than 80 themes have been prepared, equating to more than two and half years of fun and educationally engaging activities.

The company, which already has more than 100 franchises worldwide in locations including Australia, South Africa, New Zealand and Ireland, and cares for around 5,400 primary school-aged children every day, is keen to engage with potential new partners in England who share its core values of trust, integrity and excellence.

Evidence shows that good quality, affordable childcare services are like gold dust in many parts of the country, hence the childcare market in England is ripe with opportunity for franchisees who have good people management and leadership skills, strong business acumen and entrepreneurial flair.

Sherpa Kids, whose founding company, Safe Kids in Daily Supervision (sKids), was launched in New Zealand in 1996, has established itself as a world-leading provider of out-of-school-hours care, operating on school premises in more than five countries. It is, therefore, ideally placed to help prospective franchisees enter this market in England and the wider UK.
