Dwyer Group Completes Latest Acquisition

The multi-franchise business has purchased Mosquito Joe, a leading USA-based franchisor in the mosquito control services industry.

It’s the first acquisition for Dwyer Group since announcing Harvest Partners as its new private equity partner last June.

Jeff Meyers, vice president of international operations for the Dwyer Group, says: “Although there are no current plans to launch this brand in the UK, everyone is excited about this new development.

“It demonstrates our commitment to growth in the USA, UK and Europe.”

Mosquito Joe has 288 active territories across 34 US states and the District of Columbia.

Founded in 1981 and based in Waco, Texas, Dwyer Group is a holding company of 21 service brands and 10 corporate support centres throughout North America, the UK and Europe

It has nearly 3,300 franchisees and 825 associates operating across nine countries, including the UK, with offices in Banbury and Manchester.
