Wilkins Chimney Sweep reaches 10,000 Trustpilot reviews

Vast majority graded as ‘excellent’ by satisfied customers

Wilkins Chimney Sweep is celebrating after recently receiving its 10,000th review on Trustpilot - 97 per which were rated as ‘excellent’.

The company, which has 15 franchisees operating in18 territories, has also just recorded its most successful month since records began, taking over £207,328, up from £174,746 for the same time in 2019, with a 16 per cent increase in numbers of chimneys swept.

General manager Richard Bryan, himself a former Wilkins Chimney Sweep franchisee, says: “Everyone at Wilkins head office and Taylor Made Franchising is truly delighted about the Trustpilot reviews.

“To reach 10,000 with a 97 per cent ‘excellent’ rating is a huge achievement and one we’re proud of, especially as many of them have been written during the coronavirus pandemic, when our franchisees have been having to wear additional PPE and work within social distancing measures to keep themselves and their customers safe.

“It shows their professionalism and respect for customers and their properties, which is something we strive for on a daily basis. We’re truly proud of them and could not have asked for a better Christmas present.”

Wilkins Chimney Sweep franchisees sweep chimneys and fit cages, caps and cowls to the chimneys of commercial and domestic properties.

The brand was bought by multi-franchisor Taylor Made Franchising in January 2018.

Owner Darren Taylor says: “Sweeping chimneys is a grubby job. It’s also hard work and requires skill and strength, so to see that many customers thought they did an excellent job is such a great tribute to each and every one of the franchisees and I’m delighted for them. Keep up the good work.”
