Aspiring entrepreneurs given a franchise masterclass by six leading brands

The Franchise Discovery Day webinar saw industry leaders talk to newcomers

The Franchise Discovery Day event, which took place on 31 March 2022, welcomed presenters from six leading franchisors, as well as franchisees and experts from the sector as a whole. Hosted by the BBC‘s Ben Thompson, the event featured discussion and questions with the following franchises:

· Driver Hire
· FASTSIGNS UK
· Home Instead
· Revive!
· X-Press Legal Services

Each franchisor brought a franchisee to share their own personal journey with the business and provide advice to those who might wish to follow in their footsteps. COO of the British Franchise Association, Emily Price, also spoke at the event to discuss the franchise industry as a whole, along with Innes Laing, franchise director at HSBC, who talked attendees through the process of financing a franchise.
